Drivers window won't close

I've not used the 944 for 6 weeks due to an expired MOT and long holiday so was pleased when it started first time and passed it's MOT today with no advisories after some minor work like headlight adjustment, seat tightening and a new clip on the fuel filter.

The window was down all day but now that I'm home it won't close. It goes about about 90% then appears to move out away from the door and gets stuck. I don't want to keep trying incase the glass breaks as it's not going up straight at this point.

Any ideas what I can do to close it?

I've just been out and removed the door card (for the first time) and found some extra wiring with a mangled cable block attached, the window was getting blocked by this, don't know what it's for so just taped it to the door and left it there but glad to have closed the window before the rain clouds got closer!

Looks like additional audio wire. The later cars have 2 separate sets of audio wiring in the doors, 1 for the standard and 1 for 10 speaker option.
