Hi All
Had a driving Day with Bernard Aubry in the 964 cab this week and it's given me lots to think about. Bernard was employed by Porsche in the mid 80s to early 90s to offer customers a driving experience and he has been associated with the marque ever since.
A combination of road driving around the Goodwood area and then some track work at Longcross near Chobham has really helped with understanding and managing both understeer and oversteer.
We covered positioning, steering, optimal cornering, the 3 stages to braking, smooth gear changing, overtaking and chatted about speed limits.
All in all a realy great day out with a real gent. The way he drives your car is fantastic.
