Driving position in the Cayman

It seems to me that the driver has less space, especially as far as maximum leg length adjustment is concerned, in the Cayman compared with the 987 Boxster irrespective of sports seats or not. My OPC thinks this is probably the case: do you agree?
 
Sat in one today at Guildford OPC. I was quite comfy, but my better half sat in the Cayman after a 997 (wearing high-ish heels) and made the comment about lack of knee room under the steering wheel. (She also put the mockers on my love affair for a nice GT3 when she could not operate the clutch pedal for lack of knee room!)
