HI. SPENT THE WEEKEND GETTING MY BOXSTER READY FOR THE SUMMER !!!
AFTER DRIVING HER OUT OF THE GARAGE I NOTICED A COUPLE OF DROPS OF
OIL ON THE GARAGE FLOOR. THE CAR HAD NOT BEEN DRIVEN SINCE END OF JAN
COULD IT BE A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CAR WHEN LEFT FOR THREE MONTHS??
OR COULD IT SOMETHING EXPENSIVE.

HAVE BOOKED THE CAR IN AT PORSCHE GARAGE NEXT WEEK.

The occasional drip of oil is quite common with the Boxster, usually the RMS - just a seal - no problem if this weeps a bit but if you have a new clutch in the future ask them to change the rear main seal at the same time.
If you look underneath the car you will see its a bit swarfy and oily around the bottom of the bell housing where the engine meets the gearbox (the earth stap is also at this location if you are not mechanically minded to know what a bellhousing is - Just give it a wipe. Its not something to be concerned about.

Oh yes - Please stop SHOUTING.
