Dry sump reservior problem

I have fitted a 2lt 6 clyinder porsche engine in my camper.... my problem is that the mocal reservior leeks from the top cap.... has anyone else had this problem and how was it overcome?

Just a thought because I know nothing about campers but have you overfilled the oil? when you fill a 911 engine the oil runs into the engine and when you start it the oil ends up back in the tank. Too much oil and it overflows. You have to measure the level in the tank when the engine is running, not stopped and with the oil hot not cold (it expands).

Thanks... going to run on min quantity oil .. maybe fit an accumulator.... a camper is like a bed on wheels...

I don't know what that means. As I said I don't know much about campers but I guessed the 'bed on wheels' bit. Good luck anyway.

Thanks everyone.... mounted the reservior higher than the engine .... will ensure correct oil level with oil running hot... to allow expantion. thanks
