Duck tail spoiler anyone?

Hi,
I'm thinking of fitting a fixed duck-tail spoiler to my C4. I've seen 997s with them and photos of 996s, but not a 996 with one fitted 'in the flesh' . Has anyone fitted one? Any recommendations on supplier, quality etc?
Also, will it mean the pop-up spoiler dashboard warning light stays on?
Thanks

I really the duck tail personally I've seen them at design911 for around 875.00 not sure on quality. Would love to see it when it's done. I also like the turbo spoiler but only the bottom section so would have to have some work done filling the hydrolic piston holes. They seem to extend over the rear lights slightly like on a rsr body kit for a 996.

Not sure what you mean by a Duck Tail spoiler
Ive got a fixed spoiler on my 996 (Shown) and its why I bought to car
I know I will be banned from the club but I don't like the classic 911 round back!!

Let me know

Richard - this is the Duck Tail Pieman refers to, along with the 997 Sport Classic, which I believe has been the only modern 911 model with a factory fitted Duck Tail.

That's what I'm on about )
I've seen the image of the blue car (above) online and rather fancy fitting one. I just didn't want to if the quality was poor (ripples in GRP, poor shut lines, etc) so wondered if anyone had 1st hand experience?
Thanks for the replies.

There are some other versions on here http://www.gettydesign.com/996_tailbases.php I'm sure design911 could give you some insight or a customers name to ask if you could see one before you purchased. I like them also but I couldn't find some pics from various angles once they have been fitted. Also I think they do one that has a reflector right across the bottom like the c4s

I've seen a few 991's with ducktails. This GTS looks amazing

Hi Phil have found some good pics of duck tails can't up load up here pm me and I can attach compnany that makes them called csr.

Love the spoiler. Have seen the 4s one with the red strip on the bottom. Was surprised that the link showed a bigger throttle body but the standard air box On there csr kit. The 996 was restricted so I was told but by changing to an 82mm throttle body instead of the 72mm makes a huge difference. Apparently no remap needed the ecu makes the changes itself after a while of hard driving. I would love to here about this by a good friend to hit the nail on the head.
