Dummy driving lights wanted

With the current fashion for brake scoops on the RS (and other 964s) I'm wondering if there is a plethora of the original dummy driving lights which were fitted to the RS?

The very non-standard front bumper of my car could do with a bit of a refresh - particularly after Podgy Pigeon decided to commit suicide on it the other Sunday. The resultant crack needs to be repaired and repainted and I thought it might be an opportunity to clean up the looks a little. I have already laid my hands on an original set of orange indicators and, since one of my driving lights has a broken mount, I thought the clean unbroken lines of the dummy lights might give a bit of a different look.

I'm hopeful that there may be hundreds laying around in garages, unwanted, particularly as the new parts are no longer available from Porsche. If anyone has a pair in decent condition that they would like to get rid of, please e-mail me at 964@porscheclubgb.com. I have a feeling that there is a seperate back part as well as the front lens so, obviously, both parts will be needed.

Yours, hopefully,

Dave

Me too please! Anyone?

The parts are available from Porsche but likely to be on 6 months back order - as are most things 964. The backing is required too. If you have to ask the price.........don't. [:(] I did []
