Hi all;

Just looking at the Silverstone web for the 24 hr race - it mentions

There is plenty going on off the track too with displays from:

Lagonda Club
Cannonball Run
Mercos Club
Porsche Club
Ferrari Club

Not seen anything on the Club web unless I've missed it - anyone know?? Or is it just Silverstone

Stu - This was formerly the BritCar 24 hour, I believe.

I tried hard to get some enthusiasm for supporting this through the Club (as it has been a well attended event in years gone by), but was unfortunately left far too close to the event to make the numbers up for it be feasible for members[:(]

Still worth a look, of course - but you won't have your car infield or be part of a Porsche Club display.

I nearly emailed you about this yesterday, Paul. Is there anything I can still do to help? Tickets are still available at a discount if anyone wants to go.

Chris.

Thanks, Chris, but I think it's down to individuals going if they want to now. The early ticket deal helps.
Appreciate your thoughts as always - there will just not be a Club presence, as far as I know.

As Stu suggests, according to the Silverstone website Porsche Club will have a display but it doesn't indicate which Porsche club.

Always a good event and most of us in R10 are local enough, to be able to see the night racing and return the following day for the finish.

John, that's probably a result of Paul and I showing the Britcar organisers interest in having a presence there.

Chris.

Thanks for the update folks.

I'll pop along anyways - should be good. Guess the Silverstone folks just got confused as you said Chris.

I'll defo be looking out for the Mercos club ;-)

Valid point Chris,

Presume no one has offered you a drive at a reasonable price.

I will be there parked outside the SRC, although at some time during the night I will head home for some sleep.

April at Silverstone is looking good with the FIA Endurance 10th-12th April as well

I've been offered all sorts of drives - some extremely tempting!

I'll be around - not sure how late I'll stay though!

Don't have a ticket for that yet.

Chris.

Entry tickets are discounted until 14th March as follows:

RRP £45
Single ticket discounted to £35
Pair of tickets discounted to £50
