DVLA Reg Auction - 924 GTS

Hi

The next DVLA registration auction is at Mercedes-Benz World, Brooklands, Weybridge,Surrey KT13 0SL on 6th, 7th, 8th September 2012 and I've noticed that 924 GTS is available on the Friday with a reserved price of £1600.

I thought I'd post it in case anyone was interested!

I requested that number to be released along with POR 924T which was at the last auction. Unfortunately I lost out on that plate!! Unlikely to be able to afford these two new ones on offer. Far more valuable with fewer digits displayed
 
The annoying thing is someone out there asked for it, got it put on DVLA auction and will now probably be outbid

Been there a few years ago when I asked for A94FOR [:D]
 
So, how do you "request" DVLA to release a specific plate?

I was not aware this was possible. Now realized I've probably out bid some poor chap who had requested the release of a couple of matching plates I've recently acquired!
