DW Performance Ltd - Wellingborough - 987.2 Gundo Hack

So i’d been thinking about getting something done with my exhaust but the PSE was just too expensive for me.

I‘d looked at the carnewal gt but didn’t want to go to Belgium, so looked at the revolution Porsche mod and they never came back to me.

Some of the guys at the last R24 club meet mentioned DW Performance in Wellingborough and said about the top gear exhaust or they had heard about the Gundo Hack.

So I contacted them as well as Haywood & Scott, I was wary of the H&S bypass as its videos were of a 981 although advertised as 987 and was nearly £600.00

Then DW came back to me on Tues/Weds and said they could do the Gundo today and for £288!

So I went and had it done and here was the result.

I can also thoroughly recommend Kev and the guys at DW for all things Porsche.
Andy

I agree they are a great team and I will definitely be back there when my car needs servicing

Kev and his team are great. Kev is about as honest a technician as you'll find. His knowledge and enthusiasm is extremely impressive. He'll be giving my 997.2 turbo a major service in three weeks' time and I have no doubt the work will equal that of any work carried out by an OPC.

Hopefully I'll see some of you at his cars and coffee morning on Saturday March 30th.

That sounds great !!!
And a decent price too.

Does it sound as aggressive in real life ?
And how is it pootling round town/ cruising at speed?

That sounds every bit as good as the Carnewal GT which I have. (if not louder!!)
And at less than half the price

I havent heard a Carnewal in person however I found videos dont do any of the exhausts justice.

Mine in the video sounds better than the Gundo they did on the 987.1 on their Facebook page.

It is loud if you blip ;) or drive it harder, so yes aggressive enough to sound more like a GT3 I would say.

But under normal cruising its more of a rumble but no annoying droning sounds at motorway speeds.
