Dysart Arms meet moving to The Rose of York

Hi all,
We just got told yesterday that Dysart Arms will be closing for renovation in a couple of weeks time and will definitely be closed for our September meet.

Couple of things:
  • Paul Kelley is going to look at two potential pubs towards Richmond which have plenty of safe parking; one, being the place you guys used to meet some 10years ago and another one which is nearby. If anyone has any alternatives suggestions then please let us know. Priority is on safe, secure well lit parking; easy to get to; good service and reasonable food/beer and non-Dysart prices[;)].

  • Now is a good time to complain about the price of the food/beer; location/parking at Dysart Arms and should we move to the new location permanently or give Dysart Arms another chance once renovated? Remember the Valentine meet; the piano recitals? We can laugh now but it wasn't funny at the time; okay some of us walking out on the recital was [:D]

  • Please inform others who regularly come to the meet but are not on the forum, as I may not be able to get these changes in the September Porsche Post; have requested but it is going for print either today or tomorrow and it may be too late to change it. We definitely will not have the new location confirmed in time for the next Porsche Post, so please watch this space for the announcement.
Regards,
Kish
