Hello,

just installed a set of yellow Bilsteins on a 83 MY 944 auto.
I still experience more roll than i like.
Since the car is an early model, i would like to find out which bigger than standard antiroll bars could be installed directly on the steel a-arms

Car rides on 7 and 8x15 fuchs and brand new Toyo T1Rs

Yes as far as i know. There is an article by jim pasha I've read on 924.org with all the options

I fitted Spax lowered front springs to my track day 924S-25mm drop -adjusted rear eccen
trics to minimum ride height which still isn't quite level but don't wish to tackle Re -indexing yet & fitted Turbo 944 26.8 MM. front anti roll bar which I had to reduce the ends diameter slightly so the the only available Rubber bushes from Porsche would fit still using the standard aluminium brackets fitted to the steel arms .
I added the 19 mm turbo rear bar using new clamping bushes replaced the rear swing plate clamping bolts with the eccentric adjusters version(but didn't adjust camber as that is a whole new can of worms getting all fixings /plates loose & adjustable) & fitted the drop links to them
Then had 4 wheel adjustment(not rear camber but everything else) with front castor set to -2.5 degs
As car run on a budget struts/rear shocks as on car -handles quite well at speed at Oulton
Anglesey& Donnington-reasonably flat on corners with good turn in-manual steering.
