Hi all,

I am looking to buy a 1980 or earlier 928. Not really looking for a project but happy to pay the right money for a sorted car.

Please let me know if you hear of anything for sale.

Funky colours and interior a definite plus.

Hi Mark, Nice collection you have there [:)] is it the 4.5 928 or 4.7 928S, manual or auto your after? as most are early cars are auto but there are a few manual cars about.

A bit later than you want but looks good value.... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201505033152934/sort/default/postcode/co62ph/make/porsche/channel/cars/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/radius/1500/page/1/usedcars?logcode=p

thanks for the compliment (although my signature needed updating which i have done now!), i live in constant fear of rising prices so can't help buying whilst i can still afford them! i would much prefer a auto, but would consider a manual if everything else was spot on. don't mind if it's a 4.5 or 4.7 as condition is king, but if all else was equal i would rather a 4.5 i guess. i was too late for the autotrader car, the advert had already been taken down - what was it?

I've posted a friends 928s for sale it's a 1983 model, so perhaps not what you're looking for, but he's owned for 27 years, so it's well sorted and in good condition. Maybe worth giving him a call ? [link]https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.asp?m=885488[/link]
