Early 944 (square dash) Sunroof Mechanism

Evening All.
My sunroof mechanism has developed a fault, the passenger side arm will not retract fully, I believe that the plastic gear wheel may have stripped.
The gearing box is a single unit in the centre of the roof as compared to the later models which i believe has a gear wheel in each unit (one either side).
Before I strip out the unit, I'm going to take a punt and order replacement gear wheel.
OK - so my question is - how many gear wheels are there in the single gearing box (one or two) and are they the same as the later model (round dash).
Hope I have explained myself.
Thanks in advance [s1]

Thank you, answer found in clarks - single wheel with direct drive. Hope to order one tomorrow [:)]
