Early car?

New member
Hi all

I have a 1975 registered Carrera 3.0 UK car, how would I find out where it sits in the order of cars supplied?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Scott

Hi Scott,

Guy White here on the Porsche Club forum is the register secretary of the Carrera 2.7, Carrera 3 and 911 2.7 series cars. You'll find his contact details in Porsche Post, or he might already have seen this and be in touch shortly.

best regards,

Bert

Thanks to Geoff I now know it was the 127th car built.

Was first registered Nov 1975.

Would love to know if it's one of the first UK RHD cars, can anyone help with that???

Thanks

Hello Scott,

I presume that is the Ice Green Metallic car from SE London and would in fact be the 117th Carrera 3 coupe as the chassis numbers 1-10 were not used. As far as RHD UK supplied cars go I know of four earlier ones and also another RHD one for Australia but there could be more.

Yes that's correct Guy, appreciate the response.

Would you be able to confirm the spec/options when new?

Really enjoying the car!

Hello Scott,

I've been away so apologies for the delay in the response. I don't have the spec for that specific car but if you are a PCGB member you can obtain a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche free of charge and this will list all the details.
