I'll be going along to Oulton Park on Easter Monday (25th April) to watch the British GT and F3 championship:

and to Donington park on Sunday 1st May to watch the inaugral Donington Historic Festival:

There's a thread on the R8 forum which tells you how to get the club special offer on tickets.

Anyone else going along to these?

Hi Steve,

Have got a pass out to go to Oulton on Monday, best programme, usually, hoping to get there early doors to mooch around paddock.

Might even take 3.2, is there going to be a roped off area for older motors ?

Tim Little.

PS Very interesting talk about your 964, sorry I had to leave early.

If you are interested there is a North Wales run for 964 ( Rennlist ) on 10 th April from Ruthin at 11.00. have a look at their forum.

Hi Tim,

Oulton don't do special parking for the club at this particular event. You get marshalled to the public parking area. After parking I usually set up camp on the grassy area at the bottom of cascades which is a great place to watch. And like yourself take time to mooch around the paddock. The GT cars are great to watch and hear and the support races usually provide lots of entertainment, especially the Ginetta juniors which spend most of their time on the grass [:D]

Hi Steve,

Should be a good days racing as the GT guys have quite an interesting selection of marques in the series, but tend to find that the F£ guys are fast but not much overtaking!

Will probably park up at clay hill at wander.

Interested in the North Wales run !
