Easter Monday Drive

If anyone fancies joining myself a few other boxsters, a 944 and a 930 for an Easter Monday drive, we're meeting at 10am at the Stirling services just off the M80 (poss also accessible from M9 - off the massive roundabout!).

Plan to head over east coast, St. Andrews around the coast, spot of lunch etc..

Got a route planned? I'm in Fife and might join you on the route somewhere (no point in schlepping over to Stirling). Happy to lead you round some of the more obscure bits of Fife if you like.

PS Warning ... I was in St Andrews this afternoon, very busy with tourists!

Unfortunately I don't think there's a route planned - I'm not organising, but think it's a bit of vote for route when we meet, st. andrews, burntisland and possibly up to crail to have a look at the track.

Looks like you will have had a good day ,look at my posting under [have you earned your wings yet ] this is where you should have gone .
Cheers Brian RO1

Well we went, 5 boxsters and a 944 turbo......weather was good initially, but started to rain. Heading over to the east coast by the "Tourist Coastal" route, we decided to get a spot of lunch at the Crow's Nest in anstruther, then on to Crail to check-out the track.

This is where it got good....the owner of crail saw us looking around and let us in for a free shot of the "drifting oval"...many spins, big sideways moments and huge grins attached to all coupons [:D]

Apart from that the other "highlight" was the fife police taking down our details - because there had been reports of "4 coupe's driving excessively fast" in the area - I though the better of pointing out that we were 5 convertibles and 1 coupe....and we couldn't go fast because of the traffic. He did admit that it was probably someone just jealous...aparently they get a lot of that!
