Ebay ripoff merchant!

Recently came across a genuine Porsche inspection hole cover for the clutch on a 968 Ebay "bargain" price, £12 plus postage, OPC price around £4.
I think that the moral is check the OPC price before assuming that everything is cheaper on Ebay.

If I had a pound for every time someone has come to me exstatic that they've sourced an obsolete 944 part on e-bay, only for me to tell them it's a quarter of the price at a PC, I could afford a GT3....[&:]

Always call the PC first. The very worst will be that you're clued up as to the real price of a new part from them. And, most e-bayers don't give discounts to Club members. [;)]

just had this with a known company in the wirral payed 50 pound for a pair of bonnet struts to find them on design 911 site for 30 including postage and he tryed to put vat on a buy it now price [&:]

I needed some new rubber pedal covers for my 944 turbo, found them on e-bay for £3.75 plus delivery. Check OPC, they were 75p!
Drove down and collected that day (head office in Calcot only 15miles up the road)
