Hi,

I'm currently considering a Boxster S and have the ECU print out below;

Should I be concerned with the rev range incidents in 1&2 as they have clearly happened recently?

Thanks

Mark

I think the formula is to divide the mileage by hours operated and you should get near to 30MPH average. I wouldn't be worried about minimal revs in 1 or 2

mine are far far higher, that's nothing :)

rev ranges in 1 and 2 don't mean that much bar it been driven and hit the limiter for a few seconds :)

better to have revs up the range than low down bore scoring issues.

rr3 and above is not good.

you find this with Porsche, people give them one last thrash when selling and it can land them in the shit lol, in this case though just a limiter hit.

606 in range 1 is very very low, mines at 32k and again a lot added in the last few hours before it was sold, so the last owner thrashed it the last drive.

that print outs the lowest I have even seen. it works out to only 1.6 seconds at the limiter in it's whole life.
