I fancy a little more power in my 996TT via a chip upgrade. Anyone out there got advice on the upgrades from DMS, Revo and GIAC from the USA?

Thx

I have read quite a few good reports of the DMS upgrade, but no personal experience of any.

I was at a Pure GT meeting on Saturday there was a DMS tuned GT2 that made very dissapointing power on the Dyno and the Revo cars did exactly what they said they would power and torque wise.
Having had the Revo try before you buy 5 hour drive map - I'll be going Revo plus Mitchell really knows his stuff.

The car in question was back with us today. Faulty boost controlvalve. Replacement has eradicated all the problems. I think the customer is quite looking forward to seeing it run again.

None as yet, I personally think it will be 2009 along with the facelift.
The model is still selling well (although 10 available on the OPC network)

I have a 996T with DMS ECU which was on the car when I bought it. It is very smooth and torquey - no flat spots or hesitation. Although I have not driven a standard or X50 for any real elngth of time, it is pretty much how I would expect it to leave the factory. Not dyno'd but DMS claim c.500hp - it certainly feels brisk -especially having not having driven it for a while and then drove up to Derbyshire 10 days ago.[:D]

100% recommend Ray West at Thruxton - same cost as the others but what seems to be a tailored remap rather than a generic map and some dyno plots to show the outcome (in at 410 out at 501).

Can you give me an idea of cost please? I've been speaking to Paul at 911 Sport who has been very helpful. Cheers.
