Edinburgh OPC visit

Just a wee post to say thanks to Brian for organising the Edinburgh OPC visit, which was very useful to all and a very worthwhile check of the car - also managed to get agreement to replace brakes under warranty and found a Rear Main Seal leak......was a very enjoyable morning. The staff at Edingurgh should also be praised for the attention we received, and they're generally thoroughly good blokes.

I'll second all of the above, just a pity a few more folk didn't show up, although that would have meant less scoff for those that did! A big thanks to all the Glenvarigill folk for letting us wander around the workshops.

PS ... and even the Forth Bridge was quiet this morning

Thank's to everyone who came along we had a great time ,and a special thanks to all the staff in attendance. It was nice seeing around the dealership ,some stunning cars were to be seen. We all enjoyed a free 24 point check ,and a free buffet lunch .

Cheers Brian RO1

Hi

Glad to hear that the visit to the OPC went so well. I was put off by the Bridge, which is why I didn't go. So John H it wasn't congested and I could have gone across?[]

Still I got my garden done, before the rain came on[:D]

See you all soon.

Jane,

I went early, like before 9:00am, when it was still quiet, I suspect that by mid morning it would have been chaotic. I came home via the Kincardine bridge later in the afternoon, which was OK, but there was about 3 miles of southbound traffic crawling through Kincardine village in the other direction [:'(] Glad Ididn't go on the bike after all, as I would have got soaked [>:]

Gee, weekends are going to big fun around here for a while []

John

Knowing my luck, the Bridge would have had huge tailbacks if I'd gone![:D]

Myabe as it was the first weekend of disruption, people were avioding it.[8|]

Yeh.....not much fun for weekends now is it?[]
