Electric aerial help

Could someone tell me please what the height of the factory fitted electric is please when fully extended from base to top.
Mine was beyond repair so i bought a non porsche replacement but it looks way too high for the car. Im sure i got a reception from the space shuttle on it yesterday its that high.
Thinkin bout gettin another one now.

Just got back off holiday hoping someone would have kindly taken the time to measure up an aerial for me but alas no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:mad:]

I'm pretty certain they were never factory fitted (could be wrong though).

Sorry I can't help, all the later cars have the aerial built into the windscreen

When I bought mine it had a manual one fitted which I replaced with a 4 section (70cm I think) electric one.
I snapped that off and got a 5 section one (90cm) which gives far better reception and the size I would reccommend.
Also, get a black mast as they look far better with most coloured cars!

Series one cars had an aerial in the front wing. I think that a Becker electric aerial was used, but I last saw one in 1994, sorry...
 
No worries all but thanks for the advice but i have sorted it now. Managed to shorten the new leccy aerial to a decent size or at least a size that doesnt have seagulls eyes out!
