I have a breaker bar but I haven't got that much space under the car to swing it round, even though it's on stands.
Must be a lot easier if you have access to a ramp.
If I can't get an electric one I may take you up on the compressor offer. We may have an air wrench at work I can nick for the w/e.
Rob
ps - did you ever sort the rs panels/handles?

Fingers crossed the weather will pick up again and I can get the car out and do some more to it..
I never found a decent alternative to the RS handles (at 200 quid plus each! ) but I have 4 extra rosette's (which are used either end) and intend using some black webbing in between to make the pull close handles
will post some pictures when its done, although part of the delay is because I can't decide whether to cover them in vynil or alcantara.. still undecided []
if you need the compressor, give me a call by thurs night and I can get my mate to bring it to work for you friday.. Im in london sat morning then on holiday until wednesday 30th. If you want it before then just let me know

Just had a conversation with the engineers at work about using their wrench and they have just ordered a new cordless impact wrench so hopefully I should be able to use this.
I had the same idea about the handles but using red rather than black. Found a horsey place online that supplies webbing with a rope insert to make the handle a bit more substantial.
I'm going for vinyl on my panels, just because I can't be arsed to cover everything else in Alcantara esp. as it's so expensive£££
The 993RS handles are about £45 ea from an OPC in case your interested.
Thanks for the offer and if the del. doesn't come I'll give you a ring.

the shop I got the webbing from is near one of the multi-storey's (I think lee circle, but im not too good with the different circles in leicester). If you turn right out of marks and spencers or left out of woolworths and walk away from the clock tower, then turn left around the corner of H&M or Primark (one of those shops, dont remember which) and walk towards the bus station. Then turn right down the far side of wilkinsons (opposite bus station) and walk through towards the multi-storey, the fabric shop is right infront of you (yellow fronted place).. The guys in there have loads of fabrics and trim bits, including black webbing if thats any use..
The price of the alcantara is a bit off putting. I found a place that will do it for £40 per meter, and I reckon I need about 3m to do the front door cards, the top cover pieces and the dash, although the rate Im getting things done at the moment I would probably be better off just doing the door cards in vynil!..
