Electric Mirrors

For anyone else doing fault diagnosis on non-working electric mirrors (possibly years from now?) I have spent a few hours with a meter and various plugs disconnected to end up with a simple clean up of the contacts inside the switch in the centre console (the one that selects either driver or passenger side mirror).

The switch was not badly corroded but obviously just enough to prevent a circuit to be completed to either mirror; quick clean up and they are both working as intended.

Now just have to do a bit of research on how to repair the corroded heater elements on the back of the mirrors...
