Meet at Faenol Fawr, Boddelwyddyn at 10:30 for tea / coffee

Depart Faenol Fawr at 11:00am and travel via the backroads to Llanberis (expected arrival 12:30pm)

Parking in the public car park alongside the lake and near the Electric Mountain visitors centre - £2 required for pay n display meter

Picnic lunch alongside the lake, bring your sandwiches and a sun hat !!, then tour of Electric Mountain starting at 2pm


Those that have not already confirmed with Paul n Val could they do so asap so that final numbers can be given in advance. Failure to do so will mean joining the general public admission queue on an individual basis [:mad:], and not a group tour [&:]

A great day! What a fantastic place and great start to our day from Faenol Fawr hotel, having had tea/coffee. 6 cars in total including Tom and Charlotte from the midlands register, glad you both enjoyed your day and trust you had a good drive home.
Fortunately the rain kept off, while we had our picnic by the lake, as it didn't look to promising as we desended the pass.
Both myself and Angie hadn't been to Electric Mountain before, however I had remembered the reports televised by Blue Peter when it was under construction back in the seventies!! ..... am i really that old!!!
As per usual another great day, company and drive.
Thanks again to Paul and Val for organising.
