electric roof-more info-please read!!

Hi all, i have been having problems with my electric roof. First off it wouldn't open electrically all the way?? removed it and greased up the runners. Then it has started not opening electrically, you dont get 12v from the relay to the motor. there is 12v supply to both relays(up & down)! i have shorted the relay out-motor runs, i have swapped the relays over-still the same. I have had a look at the 2 red micro switches at the back and found one to have it's stop switch broken, new switch ordered from porsche but not entireley convinced it will be that as when i push the switch there is still no power? are these red realys to tell the power relays to stop when shut or open?? i have spent hours on this today to no avail.please help
i was also thinking of replacing the gears to and foloowing clarks guide!!
