Got a nice interior for the £450 project 944 for £100.
One thing is there electric and the old ones were manual, has anyone fitted electric ones in and where did they take the 12v from?
Did think the loom would be there but can't find any hint of wiring.

Half leather and some kind of suede in the middle.

Its only to be found on series two cars. The wiring is relatively straight forward and the electric adjustment on many seats isnt particularly worthwhile (also many early series two cars had a manual passenger seat, with only drivers height being adjustable).

Dont worry about the double fixing at the rear: this was added to strengthen the seats which carried the seatbelt in series two cars. The cap headed mounting bolts will be a lot better than the M6 bolts fitted as standard to your car, so Id use those if you have them.

Cheers 944man both have full electrics shouldn't be to hard to pinch a 12v supply was thinking the centre controls by the gear stick.
The bolts where a pain in the butt and will be replaced for some allen head type ones, cheers work.

Youll have worked out for yourself that the socket will slide in the slightly splayed open end of the channel then? [:D] Be careful because the captives can come loose and it happens far more on early cars. Nip them up and then leave them...
