Electric supply for retrofit seats

How do I get install an electrical supply for electric seats I'm retrofitting to my 1984 944?
I assume the quick and dirty way is to splice a supply from the cigarette lighter? Is the fuse box way much more complicated?

Hi Paul,

Lift up the carpet under the seats (after you've taken them out) - you may get lucky and find the power wires are under there already.
 
wherever you get the supply from Paul I reckon you'll probably need to install relays the seat motors draw quite a big current. I'll see if I have a electrical schematic showing the normal supply route
