Electric window fuse

Where is the fuse for the electric window on an 88 turbo ,i have looked on the fuse box diagram and i cant find it,it was working at tea time but has just stopped and i need to close it as i have to leave the car on the drive way tonight .

All sorted now its number 4 (30 amp), but for some reason as soon as you try to use the n/s window its blowing the fuse again !!!

Take the window switch off (it's only two screws) and clean the connections, mine wouldn't go up the weekend. I did this and it's working fine again.

And remember for the passenger window there are 2 switches.

To be honest I don't think the switch will cause the fuse to blow, but it's easy and worth a try (careful when you prise the switch open; there are springs in there!)

I replaced the fuse and the drivers side works again, i took the door panel off to check why the door handle doesnt work (the link has snapped) and to check the switchs and wires out but as soon as you disconect the passenger side window swich it blows the fuse straight away. Im putting manual windows in anway so i think i will just be happy with the drivers side working for now !!!
