HI , my problem is that my electric window has dropped by 2" but it now does not go up or down. When you hit the button you can hear the motor working but no window movement. Would any one know what the problem is here. regards zack

Is this going to screw my wallet, or can i put the bits in myself cheers for your quick reply zack

Pulling door card of now, got electric mirror moulding off, 2 screws, all the clips and the middle is stuck, my normal method is a bit of a pull but i dont want to damage it . Is there something I have not done cheers zack

have you taken the 2 torx30 screws out...

if not there is a shroud around the internal door handle this should pull off gently and this will reveal 1 screw then then further down the handle there is a plastic piece coiled around handle, this pulls off and reveals the other screw...

airbag sign on the door needs pulling off if it has one with a small flat bladed screwdriver and this will reveal a 4mm allen screw...

also if you lift the storage part if it has one and look in there their is a plastic screw in there..

hope this helps..

glad to help ...

If the regulator is knackered, watch where you buy a replacement from: when mine stopped working, I bought a good secondhand one from a breakers yard. Turns out a brand new was only marginally more expensive from Porsche. £120 - ish I seem to remember.
