Electric window switch replacements

My drivers side switch fell to pieces inside, I replaced it with an OEM one but that only lasted 4 months. Most forums I've looked at say steer clear of the cheapo eBay ones, are there any good non-OEM replacements out there?

Sod's law, I couldn't open the window so I tried the sunroof but that has packed up too. Can I swap the sunroof switch with the electric spoiler one (I've got a fixed spoiler so that switch is redundant)?

Cheers

There are 3 options on these, Genuine POrsche, OEM and aftermarket. TBH they are all as good (or bad) as each other.

Just beware that some UK sellers on ebay are selling aftermarket ones and listing them as OEM, aftermarket ones have the plastic lugs at the sides, Genuine & OEM are metal

Aftermarket ones are £12 + vat against OEM at £28+ vat

Cheers. The replacement I had was an OEM, has the metal lugs. What I don't understand is how the original lasted 20 years, but the OEM only 4 months. Maybe I got lucky with the original :)

Surely the OEM switch should be under warranty. Should have at least 1 year

Ive replaced mine over the years with the Eurocarparts version, its a very good match and no problems to date. I havent had to replace a replacement, car only does around 4k miles a year so not a huge scale to measure against.

This last year I did around 20K in mine, and the aircon needs a regass so the switch got plenty of use [:)]
