Started up my 996 c2 this evening and when the starter turns over the windows do their slight up and down bit (as if you are opening the door !) just before it fires up My two year old daughter was sat in the car this afternoon as i was waxing it -could she have pushed a button or done something or do i have an electrical fault ? why would the windows do their liitle jig on turn -over ?
I know this is an odd one but any ideas would be greatly recieved !

How old is the battery? A failing battery causes all sorts of odd behavior with the windows, and often causes the spoiler to have a mind of it'own. There are some battery checks in the battery change DIY on the Technical Articles pages. I would start there.
