Electrics

Hi. New member here, having signed up at the NEC Classic Car show in November.

I'm based in Pinner. Just bought a 1982 911 SC. All good at first, but now the indicators don't work.

To cut a long story short I've replaced the relay and the indicator stalk, but no joy. Getting to the end of my capabilities!

Can anyone please recommend an auto electrician who will come to me who will do a quality job? I'd be very greatful for any advice.

Thanks

Hi Keith,

Regions don't tend to use the forum much, so perhaps post in the area for your car? You could also speak to the Region organiser, who'd be likely to know of local contacts.

Two suggestions: try Jaz at Wembley or Porsche Torque in Uxbridge both have good knowledge of the older cars and are reasonably close to you.

If you want someone to come to you try Karl from In Car Electrics, he can be contacted on 07980 983616.

Paul/Terry,

A much belated many thanks for your replies. I hadn't checked in on the forum as I thought I would get copies of any responses via email. Apologies!

As it happens I went back over the work I'd done and found a couple of loose connections and a crusty fuse. All good now!

Terry I've noted the contacts you gave me and will be in touch with Karl, I have a few restoration bits to sort in the electrical department.

Thanks again.

Keith
