Elvington Event - FRIDAY 5th March

I've just received from PC Leeds notification of an event at Elvington on 5th March. (Please note that this is a Friday). If you would like to go, please e-mail Mike Dumville direct as suggested in the message below, don't contact PC Leeds as they won't be able to book a place for you.

"On Friday 5th March take to the wheel of the latest incarnation of the iconic supercar from Porsche, the 911 Turbo. Kindly donated by Porsche Driving Experience, for just a £60 donation towards Afghan Heroes (www.afghanheroes.org.uk) this is your chance to experience being launched from 0 to 100mph in under 8 seconds, and continue at full acceleration over the 2 mile runway at Elvington Airfield (near York) for 2 runs under the guidance of Mike Dumville, senior Driving Consultant for Porsche.

Sadly, some of us work for a living, but sounds like a good day. However, I am looking forward to my Christmas present from Jane, also at Elvington...a 6 lap driving experience in a Lambourghini. I think it may be a bit faster than my Boxster (slightly).
 
Good news, I too will be their early, Mike informs me their are now 3 of us booked in, he tell me graham contacted him at the weekend and booked
