Fed up with the repeated jokes about being a light-weight Steve decided to show off his second museum piece.
 
How about

"If it wasn't for the blazing sun and the warmth of the BBQ it would only be this big!"

there is another 'Carry On Camping' style caption involving chipolata's in there somewhere as well..
 
What about;

Steve loved to barbeque but the meat and two veg incident was a step too far
 
"Falling short on supplies, Steve immediately offered a spicey sausage for the BBQ, but alas discovered it was colder outside than he first thought...."

Unless you're planning on a new take on the loaves and fishes, there's gonna be a lot of hungry punters at your next BBQ (cue GM's chipolata quip)
