Guys, i sold my 2003 Boxster S in August last year to a cracking guy.

Problem is, he has disconnected the battery, and then has had his father shut the bonnet.

I hav tried to explained that there is the emergency pull cord that i believe he should be able to use to get in to it, but can not.

He has looked in the mannual but had no joy.......

Can any ne help me to help him????

Thanks in anticipation..

Well we shoud have some entertainment trying to sort this one although I am sure someone will know how!! The father could not have known the consequences , it takes some effort to latch a Boxster bonnet shut properly!!

As the battery is disconnected I don't believe we can go down the usual route of opening up the bonnet by putting 12 V from an external source onto the pull out connection in the fuse box (see handbook) Looking at drawings I cannot envisage any sort of quick fix.

I hope someone can help you but I don't believe the usual application of 12v in the fusebox will work with the battery disconnected... I could be wrong though.

Awaiting divine intervention!!

Connecting a 12V battery to the fuse box connector will work, or a trickle charger connected to the cigarette lighter socket will also do it.
