I have a low mileage 2011 model Cayenne diesel. It stood unused in my garage on trickle charge for for 3 months, and I started using it again a couple of weeks ago.
Everything seemed fine, but in the last couple of days, the yellow Emission Control warning light came on, and is now on continuously. I know the handbook says I should take it to my nearest "Porsche Partner" to have the fault memory read and to collect a large bill, but I just wondered if anyone can suggest the most likely cause. The car runs absolutely fine, and has always been used on mixed long/short distance trips. Thanks.
