PCGB Region 13 Hereford, Worcester & Shropshire
Region 13 Report for December 2011.
First of all, a Happy New Year to everyone.
This year, we shall be having our meetings at the Chateau Impney Starting on Tuesday the 28th February and it would be great to see a large turnout for what will be our first officially organised meet here after losing the Bowling Green Inn last November.
This year, our assistant RO is Steve Cutler, who is intending to keep us all posted of coming events and bring us more into the electronic age. So, don't wait for Porsche Post to come out, check our Diary status on R13 forum.
I am hoping to arrange a talk or demonstration for each of our meeting nights, which of course, kick off with our Dinner and Skittles at the Bell Inn, Broadheath, Worcester, on Tuesday the 31st January. I still need bookings for this one. The charge is £10 per person, for two courses and the skittles. This allows a small amount to cover prizes etc. We have several couples booked so let us make it a proper family affair. Please book by sending your cheques to me, made out to "˜PCGB' and marked on the back "˜Skittles'. We have a special account for this at the Club. Last year we did this and are returning by popular request.
Prodrive visit is intended for Saturdays 17th March or 21st April. I cannot fix this until after January 1st as they seem to be shut down over the holiday. So check on R13 Forum and for actual cost. Or contact me by phone or e mail as in Porschefile.
Morgan visit will depend on the above dates but will be during the week.
Canoeing......I have had another request for this and we propose in September. I would appreciate notice of your interest. Perhaps a shorter run this time.
FORTHCOMING EVENTS.
31st January Skittles and Dinner at the Bell Inn
28th February Morgan Talk
27th March Swissvax
24th April "˜Continental Tyres' talk
May, Thursday 17th. Curborough £35 per car. Book with me ASAP, Cheques to "˜PCGB'
26th June Concours night at the Chateau Impney. Our main and we shall not be joining others, but they are welcome.
Keep watching John
