Put the car back on the road today. Took it for a wee run around. All was fine for the first twenty mins or so then turned left at a t junction and floored the throttle car revved to 2 ish thousand then cut then went then cut then went, big Kangaroo's. Foot on clutch and the car idles totally normally. I ran to my parents house about a mile away on part throttle. My first thought was DME realy. So pulled it out gave it a blow and put it back. The car was low ish on fuel so I out 20 liters in it and it's been faultless since. Any thoughts ?

Also I fitted brand new springs from Porsche (968 cs non mo30 ) the car sat back down nicely but it is now sitting noticeably lower on one side than the other. I really hope I haven't broken one already. Although I will check tomorrow just to make sure one is not twisted and sitting out of the cups. Any thoughts on this ?

First - she was complaining that you hadn't driven her recently. (may ne old fuel sticking things up - new fuel will dissolve it)

Chack all the bolts as well on the suspension

Fuel goes off really quickly. I have issues every year when the mowers and two-stroke gear has been sitting over winter, and will be using synthetic fuel towards the end of the season next year.

If you only had a small amount of fuel sitting for months, then putting a tankful of fresh premium through it must be a good idea? You will need to do about 400 miles of spirited driving to clean all the stale fuel out, though. [;)]
