Engine Flush

Hi

Has anyone used an engine flush product before and can recommend if they work and any brands to use if they do.

I mainly use the car for short journeys so want to get rid of any potential clogging and crap short journeys produce before doing a full oil change.

Cheers

Sean

Not a good idea on the 3.2 as it's very difficult to get all the oil out from the oil cooler.

Just run a decent oil, you'll be fine.

The engine set up is not like your ordinary car with a sump where you can dump all the old oil and engine flush. The oil in your tank does not get pumped round the engine, the engine takes what it need so the oil in the tank look cleaner when you empty it. Introducing engine flush in the tank will still be in your tank when you put clean oil in and your oil lines and cooler would still have traces of the engine flush
