Engine Mounts

I think it is time for new engine mounts for my 964 C2. I have read the article in Porsche Post about 993 mounts and original fluid damped and RS engine mounts. The question is, for a road going with absolutely no intention of track work, what is the best option for longevity. peace of mind and cost effectiveness? I will have them replaced at the next service as they have to be loosened in any case, to allow valve adjustment to be undertaken, so there should be minimal extra labour cost.

Personally I would go for 964 RS mounts. Had them fitted on my C4 and certainly for me the gear change felt so much more positive and slicker than previous. I don't track it (although might this year) as I have something else to track play with instead, but the gear change feel seems much more solid and purposeful.

Not sure how the pricing compares with standard vs 993 though.
