Engine oil 997 Turbo

Have been offered BELRAY YXS 100% synthetic ester, SAEOW-40 oil, was told it is far better than the other synthetic oils as also used for motor bikes... Anybody has used it or know anything about it? is it better to stick to the Mobil Oil? All comments welcomed...
 
Can't help thinking that as it's a modern engine, and as Porsche still recommend Mobil 1, that's probably still your safest bet!
 
I've used a variety of top quality oils in my 997 tt I always change it well before the due time, for normal road use Mobil 1 is fine. For more arduous conditions a higher ester oil may show some benefit. I think the oil you mention is formulated mainly for motor bikes extremely high revs but much lower torque than the turbo. The Mobil 1 will work and will not damage your very expensive engine, the Belray is to me a slight unknown in a Porsche. Try Opie oils who know about oils and all things ester !
 
Thanks for all the comments. So far have stuck to Mobil oil in order not to have any problems if anything goes wrong and have a warranty claim.
