engine oil in Aberdeen

hi

is there some where that i can get engine oil in Aberdeen in bulk say 5 gallon containers 15w-40 or 15w-50

if so how much would it be

don't know about up there in the land of the sheep lovers, but here in civilisation Costco sell Mobil 1 0w40 cheaper than anywhere else in the UK (£25 for 4L).

- not really an answer to your question, in that
a) It's not the weight of oil you asked for
2) It not in bulk unless you buy lots of it
and d) It's nowhere near aberdeen

but it did seem like a good opportunity to take the p1ss out of aberdeen[]

The nearest oilrigs are about 60 miles offshore (the Buchan IIRC) fro, Aberdeen with the majority a lot further away than that. The more southerly of the central field ones are probably closer to Dundee or Edinburgh, but I'd have to get a chart out and check. Pedant mode off.
If you find a source in Glasgow and need someone to lug it up to ABZ, I come up once every four weeks, but it had better be able to fit in a 996. Cheers.

There is DEFINITELY a bulk supplier of high spec synthetic oil in Dyce, possibly on Pitmedden Rd. I got some via a friend when I had my R34 Skyline. Look yellow pages!
