That's fine - I hope you bought about 9 litres (not sure what a Boxster needs).
9l [
There selling it in 5L packs now @ £45.99.
My Boxster had full OPC service history, I did a oil change myself the other day with the Mobil 0-40, the difference is amazing, goes like a rocket now, very impressed.
Hope this helps.

Given the time of year (& global warming) 5W-40 as Porsche recommend is ideal, but 0W-40 is also recommended & I'd be surprised if the OPC's don't use 0W-40 themselves.
9litres is the requirement - a bit of a pain as Mobil 1 comes in 4L packs!
It's readily available in 1litre bottles at all the usual outlets. [
I like to try to buy oil in 5l packs so I have some to top up if necessary. I have used Oilman (Opie Oils) for the last few services on my cars - shopping online with home delivery is so convenient! I got my last lot of Silkolene Pro5s whilst it was still on the Porsche approved list.
btw - nice to see your Boxster in the PP a while back[
More likely to be 0W40 however any of the grades in the handbook are fine

Errr - Kwik-Fit?????
Yes, Kwik fit! They are not all bad, if you speak to the mechanic ahead of the oil change and let him know what you expect then all should be well. As the £39 is cheap enough you could slip him a few quid cash to do an 'extra special job' to ensure proper service if you are worried.
