engine out...

Right if the weather is right I am going to remove the engine from my 69 912 and put in my spare engine.....hopefully it will all be smooth and it will take 15 mins to get it all sorted.............[&:]

ordered all my bits from Roger Bray

lets hope it all goes well.......

got my metal all sorted to make a Porsche trolly for the 356

yep 22nd and yes spare engine helps made sence really two cars which the abilty to have an engine dropped in at short notice makes life easy...

 
it's out bl**dy thing to do on your own.. so need to sort out the new (temp) engine out with all my new goodies on brand new Porsche orginal heatexchangers!!!!! real heat comin [:D] and my new exhaust ( loud ops) I found a pool of oil in the clutch area not good me thinks the main crank seal might be weeping after 30 odd years of use..might need to sort out my spare clutch as well.........

well better get out there again and put the new engine togeather ready to fit back in the car tomorrow...some time............. got to do family stuff midday [&:]
