engine rebuild needed

Does anybody know where I can get my 83 model engine rebuilt( new rings ) Ive been let down at last minute by friend (now ex friend) any info would be great

is the engine out ? why don't you do it yourself. its not a difficult engine to work on just lots of everything.
Have you allowed for bottom end as well ?or are you just doing the rings and top end?

Any local auto engineer will help

ok ,I only need rings as far as i know ,well thats what friend said lots of smoke when reved hard but no nasty knocks.And would probably have a go at it but dont have anywhere to do it .I live in sevenoaks kent thanks for all your advice guys
 
I suppose you know that La Rose Porsche is right there in Sevenoaks? link: www.pauldevyea.co.uk/service/service.htm Personally I cannot say anything about their service department but I did buy my 928 from there and the car was essentially as represented.
