Just want top check that I'm not missing anythings obvious! I'm trying to remove an engine from a 1980 auto. All botls are undone with no probel engine is lose etc etc but I cant move the clasp on the spline to free the shaft. In my manual it makes it sound easy but it just does not want to move! Its getting a real frustation as its the only thing keeping it in!!!! Any suggestions would be greatly apprichiated.
Thanks
Dan

Its out and now being put into its sister 928!
Unsure yet but will need a few gaskets here and there, any suggestion where to get them, sorry to be so vague but unsure which ones at the mo.
Progress is at last being made :)

Hi :)

If they are small gaskets get them from your local OPC (Official Porsche Dealer) but if we are talking something like head gasket sets , get them from one of the big 3 (in the US)

All the best Brett :)

well, its in and runs!! Much to my shock, next stage now is to pick up various spares etc etc, can anyone point me in the direction of reliable breakers? The chap doing it for me had advised me that I need a clutch slave, its to fit a 1979 manual so if anyone has any suggestion please advise. The by the sounds of it it will be drivable!!! Happy days!
Cheers
Dan
