As a new member to the forum, I would appreciate any guidance on the following issue ( Boxster 2.7 , MY 05). At or around 2500 rpm's there is a distinctive engine noise which I can only describe as a bearing rumble. OPC in Leeds have had the car in twice and run full diagnostics, No fault found
I took the car to Strasse (independent Porsche centre), and one of the technicians there said he thought there felt to be an slight engine imbalance and vibration at that point, however, could not identify a specific issue.
My main concern is that the car does not do excessive mileage (only 4-5k per year) and the warranty may run out before the fault fully develops.... Has anyone else had experience of anything similar?
