Hi all,
I have just had a lovely run down A34 before rain hits West Berks. And on return have found that on tickover, the engine is revving high. I am therefore unable to do an oil check as it says the engine has to be idling to do this.

I have also found lately that I have had some problems starting the engine....whether it is anything connected to this problem I dont know but that seems to be getting more frequent too.

The car is a 997 C2 Gen2 and only 23 months old.
Has anyone else had a similar problem or have any thoughts on this? If so, I would appreciate your comments/advice.

Haven't heard of this before but as it 23 months old I would get it into a Porsche Centre PDQ while it's still in warranty! Could be some pipework has come adrift?

Thanks for that....am on the phone to them first thing tomorrow as time running out on warranty. Hope as you suggest its a small prob.
lbear.
