Engine Trouble :(

Having some engine trouble at the moment, noticed it a while ago and its gradually got worse over a period of a week or so.

Symptoms:

Runs fine when cold.

When warmed up it stutters and has little power when accelerating both at full and partial throttle. However it will happily run along at constant speed, i drove from gloucester to lancaster xmas eve.

I do have a leaky exhaust, the pipe is separating from the back box, however atm i dont think this would cause such severe issues and doesnt explain why it runs ok when cold. Any suggestions on a decent exhause to replace it? Im thinking about the dansk stainless, or i might get it welded back together.

I think that when injecting rich when cold the problem is being masked and then when it leans out to run at normal temp the problem is revealed. At the moment im thinking its to do with fuel delivery, maybe pump, filter, injectors or pressure regulator. The fact that the problem happens at full throttle would eliminate any air leaks as afaik at full throttle the injection system injects based on rpm and ignores the AFM.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Tom
